Dictate where you write.

Waffle lives in your menu bar. Use it for messages, emails, notes, or any text field that accepts paste.

Use a global hot key.

Tap to start and tap again to finish, or hold the shortcut while speaking. Waffle inserts the result where you started.

Keep it literal, or edit it.

Keep your wording or use on-device Apple Intelligence to remove fillers and tidy sentences. Set different tones for different apps.

Add your own vocabulary.

Save names and spellings you use often. Spoken shortcuts can insert an email address, signature, or longer snippet.

Entirely local.
Works offline

Waffle doesn’t save or upload your audio. Once your speech models are installed, you can dictate offline.

Optional transcript history stays on your Mac. iCloud can sync your settings if you enable it.
